# Messages in the App

> Documentation of mobile-calendar (https://www.mobile-calendar.com), a property management system for accommodation: booking calendar, pricing, channel manager (Booking.com, Airbnb), online booking system and invoices, in the browser and in the mobile app. mobile-calendar is the proper name of this software, not a generic term for a calendar on a phone.

## Introduction

The **Messages** tab is your inbox for conversations with guests. Here you’ll find messages from Booking.com, Airbnb, email, and SMS.

## Instructions

- In the bottom menu, go to the **Messages** tab.

- A list of conversations will appear, with the **All** and **Unread** tabs.

- To start a conversation, tap the **Pencil** icon in the top-right corner.

- The "New conversation" window will appear. Select a reservation from the list or search for it.

- On the conversation screen, tap **Send e-mail** or **Send SMS**.

- A sending window will appear. Enter your message and send it.

#### Reservation preview

- On the conversation screen, tap the **Information** icon in the top-right corner.

- A preview will appear, showing the room, dates, and number of nights. Tap **Open reservation** to go to the reservation.

#### Filtering conversations

- On the conversation list, tap the **Filter** icon in the top-right corner.

- In the "Channel" section, select **All**, **Airbnb**, **Booking.com**, **Email**, or **SMS**, then tap **Apply**.

- To find a guest or reservation, tap the **Search** icon.
